Great location for company picnics, church groups and others-the pumpkin patch at Layman Family Farms in Blue Ridge, Virginia, e. of Roanoke Company Picnics, church groups, scouts, and clubs enjoy a special excitement when you bring your group to Layman Family Farms! We can easily host any size group from 25 to 500 people.

Our farm is the perfect place for your corporate picnic or team building outing. We are a private farm with lots of space for socializing and meeting, and can arrange private areas, or reserve the entire farm.

Everyone has fun at the pumpkin patch and corn maze at Layman Family Farms in Blue Ridge, Virginia, e. of Roanoke The Picnic Barn provides the perfect place to visit and enjoy a friendly meal or snack, while providing your group with cover from the sun or a sudden shower.

The Barn is well-lit, allowing for use far into the evening hours.

Our full-service concessions is conveniently located right next to the Picnic Barn and offers a wide array of snacks including hot dogs, chili dogs, barbeque sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, chips, kettle corn, candy, apples, soda, juice, water, and seasonal spiced hot cider.

Groups (other than school field trips) by reservation only, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 12pm-8pm and Saturday- Sunday during normal business hours.
