Your family will have a great time when you climb aboard one of Virginia's largest hay wagons and let our John Deere tractors take you out to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin!

Layman's Family Farms has 40 acres of pumpkins, in every size, shape and color, from giants, to petite table decorations! We also have a great selection of Indian corn, gourds, corn stalks and straw bales to help you complete your fall decorating.

The Courtyard is full of great, farm-fun activities, including duck races, the corn crib, tractor tires to climb on, and our 40 foot slide, the "Beale Mine Shaft." Kids of all ages love to go for a ride on the cow train, while everyone enjoys the Pumpkin Blaster, a pressurized cannon that shoots pumpkins up to 350 yards with a resounding splat!

Plan to spend the day. When you get hungry, stop by our concessions and the Picnic Barn, where you'll find all your fall favorites, including hot dogs, chili dogs, barbeque sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, chips, candy, apples, soda, juice, water, and seasonal spiced hot cider. And don't forget the fresh Kettle Corn!
